2018 NYBFW Trends

Spring 2018 wedding dresses have arrived and they are nothing short of amazing! Spring 2018 Bridal Fashion Week may be behind us, but we are still reminiscing about the newest dresses and trends. From capes to fringe and updates on lace and off-the-shoulder designs, Dany Mizrachi has got all the trends for this coming season that you need to know about.



Capes and Jackets

Capes, no matter how long or short, have the ability to completely transform a look. This addition to the ordinary wedding dress is extremely popular right now. It adds a royal touch that some brides are looking for, it also is perfect for keeping warm and looking stylish at your cool-weather wedding.

Hint of Color

Wedding dress designers have been adding pops of color to their new collections and fall was no different. Unexpected black details were popular on the runway this season. Black just might be the new white in the fashion world. This is a shift away from the romantic, pastel hues we’ve seen before. If you’re looking to make a serious statement or just add a touch of edginess to your wedding day look, this trend may be for you.

New Necklines

Everything from lace chokers to high-neck halters, embellished high necklines, and menswear-inspired collars to heavily-jeweled shoulder details, new necklines were popular on the runway. More brides in 2018 will be keeping their necks covered.

Minimalist

Simple, subtle, pared-down style has been working its way into the world of weddings for years. Couples are now favoring more minimalists designs, flowers, and beauty, so it’s no surprise that bridal fashion has followed suit. Many designers debuted chic, unadorned wedding dresses that are perfect for the bride who wants to wear something elegant and understated.

Bows have been hot for a few seasons and bows and bridal seem to go hand-in-hand. This season, the bows were bigger and better than ever. It has also proved that the feminine detail can also be made chic and modern. It can be as big as a jumpsuit with a bow-covered top or as small as a small accent on an off-the-shoulder sleeve. These details can have a major impact on your look.

Timeless Silhouettes

It's not always about the modern trends, weddings are traditional and 2018 styles are reflecting that with the popularity of classic ballgown silhouettes. They not only provide a romantic touch, but they are timeless.

Fall | Winter 2018 Presentation

We have one more trunk show left this month, but we have a truly special event taking place during April. Dany Mizrachi will be presenting his 2018 Fall/Winter collection.
